Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing MJ Web APP. This Refund Policy explains the terms under which refunds may be issued for the digital services we provide, including web design, web development, mobile app development, SEO, digital marketing and e-commerce solutions.

Because our services involve significant up-front planning, design and engineering hours, the refund terms below balance fair protection for clients with reasonable compensation for work already performed.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all paid engagements directly contracted with MJ Web APP, including one-time projects and ongoing retainers. Third-party costs (domain registration, hosting fees, paid plugins, ad spend, stock assets and similar) are non-refundable once incurred on the client's behalf.

2. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel a project within 48 hours of payment and before any design or development work has started, you are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid, minus payment gateway charges (typically 2–3%).

3. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Once the project has been initiated (discovery call, brief, wireframes, sprint kickoff or any deliverable produced), refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis:

• Discovery / Planning Phase complete: up to 70% of fees paid may be refunded.
• Design Phase complete: up to 40% of fees paid may be refunded.
• Development Phase started or complete: refunds are not generally available; however, any unused, unmilestoned advance may be returned at our discretion.

4. Non-Refundable Items

• Completed and delivered milestones that have been signed-off or accepted by the client.
• Paid advertising spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) already disbursed to the ad platform.
• Third-party licenses, domains, hosting renewals, themes, plugins and similar pass-through expenses.
• Monthly retainer fees for services already rendered.
• Discounted, festival-offer or promotional packages, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the offer.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@mjwebapp.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:

• Your full name and registered email/phone number
• Invoice number or project name
• Date of payment and amount
• Reason for the refund request

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and respond with a decision within 7 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days via the original payment method.

6. Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer. Most disputes can be resolved amicably through conversation and a fair pro-rata settlement.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
